Lease Information For Apartments
  • Move in Costs:
    • First
    • $100 nonrefundable maintenance fee per bedroom.(Quads are $75)
    • $250 refundable deposit (for no co-signer applications) per bedroom.
    • $150 refundable deposit (co-signer applications) per bedroom
    • If with pets:
      • $150 nonrefundable pet fee per animal
      • $150 refundable pet deposit per animal
    • Processing Fee or Subleasing:
      • $40 processing fee (Houses) per person
      • $20 processing fee (Apartments & Quads) per person
       
  • Summer Rate is for June 16 - Aug. 31. Fall Rate is for Sept. 1 - June 16.
  • Residents are responsible for utilities depending on the properties. It will be clearly stated in the lease which utilities residents will be responsible. In most cases Stewardship will pay for garbage, water, and sewer, leaving the resident responsible for electricity.
  • Some apartments have a dishwasher and or garbage disposal. These items are not guaranteed by the lease agreement; however we will repair them if possible and consider a replacement if needed.
  • Residents are not responsible for any yard maintenance or lawn care.
  • In apartments of 2 or more bedrooms, rent needs to be paid in one check on the 1st of the month and no later than the 4th.
  • If rent is paid after midnight on the fourth of the month, a $25 late fee will be added to the residents' account.
Lease Information For Houses
  • Move in Costs:
    • First and last months rent.
    • $100 nonrefundable maintenance fee per room.
    • $250 refundable deposit (for no co-signer applications) per room.
    • $150 refundable deposit (co-signer applications) per room.
    • If with pets:
      • $150 nonrefundable pet fee per animal
      • $150 refundable pet deposit per animal
    • Processing Fee or Subleasing:
      • $40 processing fee (Houses) per person
      • $20 processing fee (Apartments & Quads) per person
       
  • Residents are responsible for all utilities; heat, electricity, water, sewer, garbage, phone.
  • Residents in campus houses will be responsible for part of the washer and dryer repairs (the first $50 per repair or $10 per person for homes with more than 5 residents).
  • Some homes have a dishwasher and or garbage disposal. These items are not guaranteed by the lease agreement; however we will repair them if possible and consider a replacement if needed.
  • Any damages causes by resident(s) (e.g. bottle caps in disposals, inappropriate items in toilets, etc.) will be billed to the resident and payable immediately.
  • Residents in campus houses are not responsible for lawn maintenance, however, during warm weather residents need to water their lawn on a regular basis.
  • Rent payments need to be paid on one check on the first of each month and no later than the fourth of the month. If separate checks are written a $10 charge will be added to each check. The only exception is if all checks are submitted together in one envelope, all clearly labled with house manager and current address.
  • If rent is paid after midnight on the fourth of the month, a $25 late fee will be added to the residents' account.
